SUMMARY STATEMENT OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Recruiting Specialist (HRRS) is responsible for coordinating and managing the resourcing process across services within CrisisLink.
The HRRS is responsible for meeting resource goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates and directed and prioritized by the Director of Human Resources.
This position requires a high degree of understanding of crisis intervention, crisis contact centers, and specialized knowledge related to the use of volunteer resources in a long-term volunteer commitment.
SCHEDULE/ LOCATION /SALARY:
7 am - 3 pm or 9 am - 5pm Monday thru Friday 2 days a week in the office Tuesday and Wednesday Oakton, VA $63,000 - $65,000 PRIMARY DUTIES:
Be the primary contact for those interested in crisis work and crisis centers to answer questions and guide to the appropriate application or information session.
Inviting a cohesive work environment that includes being flexible in the applicant process while at the same time, coordinating a process of hiring and interviewing with the leadership of PRS that flows based on the sense of urgency with roles, business needs, and development Provide information to applicants about the role of crisis work and crisis contact center operations.
Screen candidates for location, ensuring the hire is occurring from approved locations.
Coordinate with the Supervisory team the current resource needs across shifts.
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of crisis center selection requirements according to accreditation standards by AAS and Contact USA.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of current practices and policies related to crisis work as a 988 center.
Qualifications:
Required experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume, full life-cycle recruiting environment Bachelor's Degree a plus but not required Preferred work within a crisis hotline or human service nonprofit which utilizes volunteers to provide services.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, mission motivated, client-focused culture, showing professional maturity and savvy.
Ability to use a variety of creative sourcing techniques.
Flexibility in schedule to meet volunteer availability (outreach fairs, etc.
).
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in computer applications relevant to this position, (i.
e.
, HRIS, MS Word, Excel).
High degree of empathy toward individuals with suicidal thoughts, serious mental illness; substance use disorders, and facing life crisis.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
