Hybrid, with 3 days in the office, 2 days remote Full time $29-33/hour depending on education and experience PRIMARY DUTIES OF THE HR GENERALIST:
Onboard new employees and conduct new hire orientation.
Coordinate with Compliance, Operations, and Payroll Departments for new hire scheduling.
Educate employees on benefit options, open enrollment and modifying coverage.
Conduct new hire check-ins, exit interviews and performance meetings with employees and managers.
Be available and responsive to all employees to resolve employee questions and issues.
Assist with administering the performance management process and offer process improvement ideas.
Create and maintain HR reporting, including monthly statistics on new hires, terminations, and performance reviews.
Design employee training and communications that support business objectives and compliance.
Remain informed of the latest developments and changes in labor law and compliance, as well as best practices and trends in HR and other functional areas that may impact the Company.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HR GENERALIST:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of recent and relevant HR-related work experience is required, in a position within a Human Resources or Personnel department.
Knowledge of State and Federal Employment Laws and Standards, as well as employee types/classifications is required.
Must be technically proficient, have had direct experience with an HRIS, have ability to quickly learn new systems, and be strong in MS Office.
Experience with Application Tracking Systems is required.
Experience with performance management procedures and systems is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
