Senior Proposal Manager

A$ A' A' ?Senior Proposal Manager This position is hybrid - in-person in Oakton, VA 2 times a week and remote work.
This position will also be in charge of managing 1 individual - proposal coordinator.
Responsible for the successful pursuit of funding opportunities for a variety of rehabilitation programs and services, in response to program needs and funder requirements.
Write and coordinate teams and partner organizations to produce winning proposals, resulting in new program awards and increased revenue to support programs for people with disabilities and barriers to employment.
Manage the proposal development process and be responsible for oversight of pipeline tracking.
Assist in overall capacity development for the department and organization through training and mentoring.
Primary DutiesWrite winning proposals, capability packages, briefings, and other organizational documents.
Coordinate teams to develop comprehensive, compelling proposals.
Develop visually compelling proposals using graphics and formatting.
Manage the proposal development process, including developing and updating a library of proposal content and reuse material; maintaining proposal tools; editing/proofing/formatting and overseeing proposals through to successful submission.
Provide training, guidance, coaching, and support to other proposal development staff, resulting in increased skills and capabilities.
Additional ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to determine funder requirements and identify proposal reuse content.
Manage processes to monitor and analyze funding leads.
Work with subject matter experts to develop proposal sections through interviewing, process management, and proposal development tools.
Edit/proof organizational documents for content, voice, consistency, and competitiveness.
Ensure proposals are responsive to funder guidelines, compliant with federal procurement requirements, and meet overall organizational quality standards.
Build and maintain monthly reports to track progress toward meeting strategic goals.
Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education, ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, Psychology, or a related field or five (5) years of experience in a related field required.
Experience in grant or proposal writing and/or nonprofit experience is strongly preferred.
Excellent writing skills, technological proficiency, graphics capability, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word (advanced level preferred), Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, and/or SharePoint.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and/or InDesign is required.
Must be able to write effective proposals to a variety of funding sources and customers, in response to private, corporate, and government solicitations.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent organizational, written, editing, proofreading, and grammatical skills as well as graphics and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with research and analytical capability is needed.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work with teams and be responsive to requests is critical.
Well-organized, with time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and drive deadlines.
Ability to utilize various online proposal submission formats.
Ability to read and understand a Request for Proposal and/or Performance Work Statement (PWS) preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
