Asphalt Paving- Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager- Asphalt PavingCommercial Asphalt Paving - Heavy Civil- Highway-Roadway Construction- Civil ConstructionOur client is actively seeking to add an assistant project manager to the paving division.
Paving projects include, but are not limited to commercial & industrial sites, roads, highways, and interstate construction paving projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for exposure to diverse projects as well as providing room for continued professional growth & upward mobility.
Pay is commensurate with experience.

This position will work with senior leadership and aid in the project management of heavy civil projects such as roads, bridges, commercial and industrial site work, concrete paving, concrete flatwork, pavement patching and underground utilities as well as other related scopes.
Support the senior project manager with the overall management of their projects from award to close out.
Sample duties, ie:
assisting in the creation of schedules, coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
Estimating and submitting change orders.
Creation and updates of progress schedules.
Post bid analysis, budget forecasting.
Maintaining client, subcontractor, and supplier relationships.
Experience:
Two (2) years or more of relevant asphalt paving experience (commercial, industrial, municipal, civil/heavy highway, roads)Experience with commercial, public and/or private projects including DOT workStrong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work well on your own or within a team.
Identifies and secures necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule.
Additional Qualities sought but not required:
Experience with relevant industry software applications such as:
Microsoft office, HCSS heavy bid, Primavera, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD a plusExperience with DOT a plus, not requiredBachelor's Degree a plus, not required (engineering, construction management or related field)Please send a current copy of your resume to alex@ for consideration and more details.
